BYD Seagull

Seagull is BYD's small EV price weapon, exported in several markets as Dolphin Mini. Its significance is not performance but cost structure: LFP battery chemistry, compact packaging and high-volume manufacturing make it one of the clearest examples of China's EV affordability advantage. Buyers should not mix the entry price with the longest-range trim, because the 305 km and 405 km versions sit at different price points.

Entry price is for the lower-range trim; 405 km versions cost more.
